ONLINE NEWSPAPERS

we used many different online newspapers research music videos , bands and directors. for example we read a times article on the Maccabees and used it in evaluation question 1. 
ONLINE MAGAZINES
I used the format of online magazines to do specific demographic research into what a contemporary  audenice think about music videos and bands.

TWITTER

Twitter is an online social network service and mircoblogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters. I used the twitter programme  to follow experts in the media world also I used it to research our band the maccabees. 

PREZI 

I used prezi to present my research on the music video genre .I taught myself to use the progamme Prezi because this is a visually interesting way to show my research into the video genre.This is the my Prezi on the music video genre the link is below.

MY SPACE
A traditional platform for music bands and fans was a site I used extensively to research different bands and music videos. particularly the band we chose for own media the maccabees which are a band that use the social media site for a lot of their promotion . 

YOUTUBE
I have used YouTube for research and for inviting feedback on my own video work. My school Claremont has its own YouTube channel. I also used the programe DAGADOP .  I used the new programe to collect the videos that i I analysed. This saved time in the research process and helped me to remember which videos to analyse. 




FACEBOOK, GOOGLE+


 "THE WORK OF DIRECTOR" DVDs 
I used four dvds by famous directors: Spike Jonze , Chris Cunningham , Jonathon Glazer and Mark Romanak


>PLANNING 

CELTX

I used the design program celtx to plan our performance shots and stage product. If not for this programme then all of our performance shots would be left unplanned and would have resulted in a far worst final product.
MOBILE PHONE


I have used my mobile phone to share ideas and footage with my peers. Also inside my own group to communicate and Coordinate while making the media project.
  

CONSTRUCTION
DIGITAL CAMERA, TAPE RECORDER
In our music video we used a number of different cameras and camera equipment . Firstly we used the nixon SLR  which we used for the performance and design element shots. However we used the sony DCR HC51camera for the other shots to give a feel of playful fun. 


ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
I used this programme to make digipack and magazine advertisement . I have used this programme before in media studies so I felt comfortable using it in which I did extensively to create and edit the magazine ad / digi-pack. without the use of this programme many of the most modern elements of I project would have not been achieved for example the headless band members in the digi pack was achieved using photoshop.

 iMOVIE 
to edit my music video I used the apple program imovie . I have learnt to use the software before so continued to use it to edit and compose the music video. 

EVALUATION

FACEBOOK

I used facebook to invite feedback about your production using and allow for peer review. Also facebook was used during own music video to share ideas and shots to compile the music video.

YOUTUBE
I have used YouTube for inviting feedback on your own video work .My school Claremont has its own YouTube channel.I have also used Youtube for research for on the music video genre.
